You have passed your driving test - now you can drive on your own at last. But it doesn’t stop there. Getting your own car will give you the independence you need.

For a new driver, the cost of insurance can be sky high. and the reason for this?

Did you know in the first two years after passing your test, newly qualified drivers are more likely to have an accident than at any other time in their driving lifetime!

In fact ONE IN FIVE newly qualified drivers will be involved in an accident in the first year after passing their test! Pass Plus is a scheme backed by the Driving Standard Agency (DSA) and leading Insurance companies to encourage newly qualified drivers to become better drivers

Age doesn’t matter – it’s basically down to a lack of driving experience

Pass Plus is a course that consists of six additional specially designed training sessions which follow on from a successful practical driving test they cover:

• Driving on motorways

• Driving on dual carriageways

• Night driving

• All weather driving

• Driving out of town

• Town driving

The New Drivers Act

Did you know, under the New Drivers Act your driving licence will be revoked if you build up six or more penalty points within two years of passing your first driving test. You will need to reapply for your driving licence as a learner driver and re sit your driving test and your theory test.
